Exchange
In line with Boğaziçi University's general policy, the Department of Economics encourages undergraduate students to study abroad through exchange programs. Our department has both general and specific engagements with various prestigious universities and economics department soverseas. Through this program, students enjoy the opportunity to learn economics in a different academic environment, and experience foreign cultures. Credits for (required, area elective or unrestricted elective) courses taken at the receiving institutions can be transferred (contingent upon the prior approval of the relevant departmental committee) once students return from the exchange program. In addition to universities in Europe, we also have agreements with a number of universities in the USA and Canada. The Economics Department's rules and application requirements for exchange programs are consistent with the rules and regulations of Boğaziçi University's International Relations Office (http://www.intl.boun.edu.tr/).
